Morning sickness during pregnancy is nothing to mess around with. This is why I created this morning sickness drink. It is a spinoff of the Trim Healthy Mama Good Girl Moonshine, with a few adjustments for pregnant Mamas.
However, you certainly do not have to be pregnant to enjoy this drink. These are all very basic ingredients that anyone can benefit from.

Doing Battle with Morning Sickness
I am currently in my third pregnancy and have truly for the first time expereinced a more intense morning sickness. It is still pretty mild in comparission to other stories I have heard from moms. However, in comparission to my other pregnancies, it has been the most extreme morning sickness that I have had yet.
Combating morning sickness is not for the faint of heart! Everyone responds differently to pregnancy, and what works for one person may not work for another.
How Can I Stop Morning Sickness in Early Pregnancy
I have never heart of morning sickness compeltely stopping. Yet, there are some options that we have in combating morning sickness. I went to my Trim Heatlthy Mama Pregnancy and Nursing group (if you are pregnancy and following THM, this is a excellent resource), and found some amazing ideas from the other women in that group. Here are some of the suggestions they offered me.
- Lots of sour things (pickles, lemons, sour drinks etc.)
- Sea Bands (they actually worked for me!)
- Make sure you are getting enough water and protein
- Baobab
- Probiotics
Just to emphasize this again, so there is no confusion, these are ideas other pregnant and nursing mamas gave me. These did not come from a medical professional.
Do Lemons Help Morning Sickness?
One of the most effective things that helped me with my morning sickness was a morning drink made out of lemons, ginger, raspberry leaf tea, apple cider vinegar, and a bit of stevia.
Sour things truly helped me during the worst of my morning sickness and that included lemons! I would sip on a lemon drink most mornings and it made such differece in how long the morning sickess lasted and how intense it was.
How to Make my Morning Sickness Drink?
Another thing about morning sickness is that you want it to go away, but it is hard to do anything. I always find it hard to make something, even when I know that it is going to benefit me!
Even though getting up and making something may not be your ideal, it is totally worth it!
I also try to me things that are very easy to put together. This is very true of this drink. There is no blending needed. All you need to do is measure or cut everything up and plop it into a mason jar or large container.
